So the Federal Government detains undocumented immigrants at the border then provides them with free transport to cities where they will not be persecuted for their immigration status - and, once there they can go where ever they wish.

Come on Cult45, you’ve not thought this through.

Trump is conning you.... again!

Then why are the dems so against it. Seems like a win win for all.

For one thing it would be extraordinarily costly. Of course, to the deficits-dont-matter Trump and associates, that's not an issue. Oh yeah, and it would serve no purpose.

It is a win win.

Perhaps the Dems have figured they can get Trump to empty immigration detention centres by protesting it a bad idea.

But that’s not the real question.

The real question is why don’t Illiberals see this for what it is - A surrender to open borders.

You are baying for undocumented immigrants to be released to where they want to go.

You are being had ..... again!

It's kind of a horror story trope with him. When he's exposed, he turns into a troll.

Regardless, he’s still been conned and he’s still promoting the con he bought into.

He can troll all he wishes but releasing detained immigrants into sanctuary cities is de facto open borders.

what undocumented immigrant is going to object to free transport to a safe city in the USA.

And Cult45 swallowed that.

Go figure.

Most trumpers are un incumberd by the thought process they react mostly to trolling

It's just another trollish fake threat from the Twitter troll in chief. Only for his never to grow base. He's greatly contributing to a virtual Civil war atmosphere in the US and this threat is a classic case of that. It's called the UNITED States. It's time to change the channel as Mayor Pete recently said. Bring on some sanity!

I imagine he'll take this threat a little further than usual. He needs people to "look over there" for awhile.

That "trollish fake threat" just got real. Other than Cher and a few other hypocrites this intelligent program should be welcomed by the sanctuary cities and left-leaning American states in general. This might be Trumps first policy that everybody from every political spectrum can agree on. In fact, I would go as far as to say opposition to Trumps proposal(safely transporting illegals to sanctuary cities that guarantee their safety and protection) could almost be considered a hate crime.

It is funny because the dems are the party of outrage. They eat up everything he says. Most grown ups know what he is doing but every word he says gets massive coverage. He is the news cycle morning, noon and night. I would be concerned at how little reporting is actually about anybody who is running as a gem. They almost have to be kept secret because their line up is so bad.

I am not excited. lol It's just an example of the dems should applaud and say that's what they have been advocating all along. The reality is they want the migrants to stay in red areas like Brushdump, Texas.

You Trump supporters seem impervious to the fact that just because they are taken somewhere, doesn't mean that's where they'll stay. As ChomperHiggot succinctly put it:

"The real question is why don’t Illiberals see this for what it is - A surrender to open borders.

I know what this is. If they can't be detained more than twenty days with children, then he is trying to dump them in blue strongholds, They can't be held anyway then the border is already for practical purposes open already.

Why not give some free transport to blue country if nothing else can be done?

The dems aren't going to pass any legislation on anything. They will probably not even pass a basic infrastructure bill to try induce a recession as that is their only prayer in hell of winning.

You mean the trillion dollars over ten years infrastructure bill that Trump promised during his campaign? He could have paid for that using some of the 2 trillion dollars over ten years (at least) that he gave away in his tax cuts.

Well the roads continue to crumble. The dems haven't advanced one meaningful piece of legislation since the elections.

As did Trump's promise of a 1 trillion dollar infrastructure program.

Well if the dems don't do something and end up losing the next 4 years are going to be very meaningful.

Those roads tend to be crumbling in places like the rust belt which is an absolute most win. The funny thing is that because of the college NY and CA no longer matter.

If anything shows the massive hypocrisy of the right wing, it's statements like yours. When the nation was in the throes of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, what did the Republicans do? They pushed to slash government spending. But now apparently it's okay to increase deficits even more to use government spending as a vaccine against a possible recession. How about this for an idea? Claw back those tax cuts for the rich and put that money to work on infrastructure.

The roads actually need to be fixed it isn't a vaccine. The infrastructure of the USA has a D+ rating and is about to be downgraded. A good percentage of our interstate bridges had 50 year shelf lives and are approaching 70 years old. Maybe you can take the I35 bridge collapse in Minnesota as an example.

The tax cuts actually got people making a million dollars and more in high SALT states paying more. 65% of the American public got a tax break out of it.

It just goes to show that Trump can do a 180 degree reversal completely agreeing with the dems and they are still outraged. I have done that here on TV and the people I did it to just opposed anything I said even though now I was agreeing with them. I wouldn't read too much into it. It just shows how wacky the dems are. They were just offered what they wanted and don't have the sense to take it.

And your comment just goes to show how absolutely impervious Trump supporters are to reality. Just because you take people somewhere, that doesn't mean they're going to stay. They'll go where jobs and family are.

They would be inside the USA anyway. Let them go to the liberal land of manna and honey falling from the sky. There aren't beds to hold them and now it is actually a crisis. Let California bare the brunt of it.

Just like in the past Minnesota took in a huge amount of Somalis, they were designated to go to that place and aided by the government to go there.

Yes, they would be inside the USA anyway, and free to go wherever they like. And they will go to wherever jobs and family are. Why is that so difficult for you to understand?

Why not give them a bus ride to escape the Sonoran desert? As I said although I edited it a little later in an earlier post in the past the feds have determined areas where refugees and migrants are sent.

It's California's turn to take some social obligations. They can go anywhere they want from there. It isn't likely they show up in Elko, Nevada.

If they are in Arizona now that is the Sonoran desert, a very harsh area. Why would you not want them to go to places with social services? The entire area around the border is basically uninhabitable if you do not have a home with water.

So I don't understand why you would want the illegals to be stuck there?

And why do you believe that they are stuck there? Why do you want to stick the US government with a bill for their transport when they can get where they're going without such assistance? Now you sound like the right wing stereotype of a liberal.

Because supposedly they have no money and aren't being smuggled in? So you think they should just walk through one of the harshest climates on the planet unassisted?
