raptorea
I was in Thailand in March of this year. Now getting ready to go back on another 30 day tourist visa. I dont have enough time to get the visa from my embassy in USA. How can I get this visa extended and for how long? I read somewhere that I can only have two 30 day stamps per year. I plan on going to Laos to get a multiple entry non o visa based on marriage but might not have enough time to get all the required documents in place before my 30 days runs out! What are my options? elviajero
A 30 day visa exempt entry can be extended by another 30 days at immigration for 1,900 baht. Another option. If you’re married to a Thai you should be allowed to extend by 60 days (1,900 THB). Visa exempt entry is only limited to two per calendar year at land borders. There is no set limit if entering by air. Edited April 18, 2019 by elviajero
