JohanB
69 quakes, with a strength of 4.2 - 5.5 in a close cluster within 3 weeks north of Banda aceh, west of Phuket. It’s the same area that released the 2004 quake....Is there anything to worry about? I think there was increased seismic activity before the big quake and tsunami in 2004... https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/#{"autoUpdate"%3A[]%2C"basemap"%3A"terrain"%2C"feed"%3A"us700038ya"%2C"listFormat"%3A"default"%2C"mapposition"%3A[[6.588217016715769%2C93.33160400390625]%2C[8.265855052877221%2C95.26519775390625]]%2C"overlays"%3A["plates"]%2C"restrictListToMap"%3A["restrictListToMap"]%2C"search"%3A{"id"%3A"us700038ya"%2C"isSearch"%3Atrue%2C"name"%3A"Search Results"%2C"params"%3A{"endtime"%3A"2019-05-09T21%3A57%3A56.113Z"%2C"latitude"%3A7.6178%2C"longitude"%3A94.3814%2C"maxradiuskm"%3A250%2C"minmagnitude"%3A2%2C"starttime"%3A"2019-03-28T21%3A57%3A56.113Z"}}%2C"sort"%3A"newest"%2C"timezone"%3A"utc"%2C"viewModes"%3A["list"%2C"map"]%2C"event"%3Anull}

Joe Mcseismic
Every small quake eases the pressure. That's a good thing. The 2004 earthquake was of a very rare type whereby two plates slipped vertically, which caused the tsunami. Most earthquakes, the slippage is lateral; no tsunami.
