Mooserj Posted April 22, 2019 Share Posted April 22, 2019 A reminder for Australians and New Zealander's that this Thursday is Anzac Day and there is an Anzac Dawn Service held in Chiang Mai. You can see this Facebook event post link for details - https://www.facebook.com/events/2368576510096927/ The Chiang Mai Anzac Day Dawn Service is on Thursday 25 April 2019, it is open to the public and hosted by the House of Praise International/Christian Outreach Center - (It is just down the Soi behind the Grandview Hotel. Google map link - https://goo.gl/maps/KjgXJ.) The Dawn Service normally begins at 6 am with a welcome, memorial addresses, laying of wreaths and flag ceremony accompanied by a Thai army bugler. Anyone is welcome to lay a wreath. This is followed by a complimentary Aussie style BBQ breakfast. Last year there were about 150 people in attendance.
