skippybangkok
Went to Narrogin gliding club in Western Australia to learn to glide, finally did my first solo last Sunday, and finished today with 7 solo flights to my name. Last flight today was wonderful, went up pretty high and greased the landing at the end. Pretty challenging as gliders pilots need spin training which is not the norm with power planes ( all the ppl people on our course have not done it ). Tow cable break simulations also required quick and decisive actions Had a great time This pick is of a glider from a club member which had a 25.6 meter wingspan Sent from my iPad using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

skippybangkok
Used to be in Lampang - not anymore sadly. I think the main issue from what I see is most airspace in Thailand is controlled, and a tiny bit over Lampang is not controlled. Can’t glide if ATC is giving u height and heading Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect
