Very many people complained and one day it luckily burnt and was closed. Now they have sometimes a night market there with a band. I never ever heard such a noise - not correct. It reminds me of a starting Concorde I watched in Heathrow. I don't know how the people living there can accept this. But it goes like this often for many years. I could close the windows and put there an outside camera and inside a screen where I can see what I saw before through the window ???? Wow... that's just sad; and yet in a lot of ways, it's where I am with american women.

Which is the same point I was trying to make about cellular towers and transmitters. They're everywhere in Se Asia. Just bc people don't feel it or hear it, doesn't mean it's not pollution- seriously dangerous pollution. Edited May 2, 2019 by XBroker

I would not make my face known as an objector. Any complaints or tactics would be done discreetly in order to avoid any future conflicts with them knowing who I am. Thailand is not a place to make enemies with the natives, especially if you threaten their livelihood in anyway. Afterall, you are a guest and if you don't like it .. etc.. I'm with you. Direct confrontation is a really bad idea. With no rules, or at least rules not enforced, not much to gain. Lots to lose. If you must complain, do so anonymously. Won't help anyways. The solution is to move. Edited May 2, 2019 by Happystance
brucec64
I'm sure a tin foil hat will give you all the protection you need. But will it stop the voices? You've likely lived here long enough to know people have been killed complaining about noisy neighbors. One reason I will never buy a place in Pattaya. If I ever get a noisy neighbor/bar near me I can always move. Killed over noise???? Like OP? How often? Thais need noise control pollution If you have to watch the daily Thai news like I have to with my Thai girlfriend you will see stories of people being killed by making complaints to their neighbors. It is not that uncommon here. Agree on the noise pollution control. My irk are the loud motorbikes more so than the music from bars.
