Yes Mickey,

It can be done on the same citizenship form as your wife when she applies, as long as all the criteria is fulfilled.

How old is your son?

He should have the same immigration status as your wife, I was going to do it on the same application as the wife, but they had buggered up he stamp in her passport.

Yes, you can make an application for registration to the Home Office in Liverpool on form MN1. The cost is £200.00 and the Home Office website indicates that such applications are currently taking a little over 3 months to consider. How old is your son, though, as the application for registration should be made before he's one year old? The Home Office will consider "out of time" applications up to a maximum of 6 years, but you will then need to state why you didn't apply earlier.

my son was born 8th jan 2006 making him 14 months now.
