Drunk Korean regrets handing over his wallet to motorcycle taxi thief

A Thai woman went on Twitter to relate what happened to her South Korean boyfriend in the early hours of the morning in downtown Bangkok.

@Newniwa said that her Korean man was very drunk and decided to take a motorcycle taxi home from Korean Town in Asoke.

But after he hailed the bike he had to go back inside and get his passport from a friend, reported Sanook.

The motorcycle taxi driver - taking advantage of his potential passenger's drunkenness - said he should leave him his wallet.

The Korean did this.

When he returned the "win" (motorcycle taxi) guy had gone and CCTV gave the cops no help in tracing him.

Newniwa appealed for the return of the wallet thinking that the thief probably threw it in the trash in the Asoke area.

They are not bothered about the cash - but they want the credit cards.

Yeap. Only really stupid people believe thieves. Still, I'd trust this motorcycle taxi rider more than some of the people you advocate for on here. At least the motocy guy can only do limited damage.

You deserved to be robbed for being this stupid. Hopefully it serves to instill a little common sense, drunk or not.

I trust a thief...really rlad...

why do people need to do baseless comparisons? The AP is better in CM than in India....worthless

Exceptional 'fukwittery' yes.... But deserving to be robbed? No...

No one deserves to have a crime committed against them... to be robbed, attacked, raped etc...  He was extremely stupid, didn't protect himself and left himself open to being a target, hence its not surprising to anyone with real world common sense that a a crime was committed against him and he should have done more to protect himself.... But he was not deserving of being a victim of the crime - No one is.

That said, even in a completely drunk state it astonishes me how daft some folk will be...

Everything is soluble in alcohol.

got nothing to do with stupid.
