New visa office in yasothon

Featured Replies

My first post here. Just to report I sent of my 90 day reporting by post to amnat as normal, this time it came back stamped with immigration yasothon stamp. Just to clarify I am in yasso province. Seems the new immigration office is opposite JP Emerald Hotel in yasso.

Thank you for posting this useful information.

Yes it is opposite JP Emerald Hotel which can be found on Google Maps. Yesterday, the 30th of April, their passport scanner was away being repaired and so they are limited to 90 day check in type work. I need to have a new passport updated with Visa Extensions and Re Entry Permits but they cannot do that until passport scanner is repaired, but no problem as I am not travelling for a few months.

The Google photo taken in October 2018 shows the OTOP Centre and the local branch of the Chamber of Commerce on the opposite side of JP Emerald Hotel on the unnamed street on Google Maps.

Oddly enough, the map also indicates a military base where the Chamber of Commerce is but there is no such name on either of the buildings.

Has one of the two buildings been converted to the immigration office?
