Japhrodisiac
Just a reminder to all expats with a business on Samui, that this month BKK Air are taking applications for the Samui Resident Card. If you miss the end of the month deadline you will need to wait another 6 months to apply. Cheers - J
sbk
What are the qualifications/requirements and do Phangan and Tao people qualify as well?
Japhrodisiac
I think the basic requirements are : Company registration Passport (copies) Work Permit (copies) One Photo (passport style) Even though they call this a "resident" card, they seem to focus more on the business owners, otherwise a passport copy and rental agreement or some such would suffice. No idea if they will do for Tao/Phangan...anyone try yet??

gusG
Is there a charge for this or is it a free service ?
Japhrodisiac
300 baht to apply, the discount on the application says 20%, but this does not apply to promotion fares. I think that with regular flights, the flyerbonus program as well as the resident card there should be some decent savings to be had.
