A Twitter post showed a video of a fire raging at a tall condominium under construction in the Sathorn area of Bangkok yesterday evening.

Comments suggested that the fire was at the Knightsbridge Sathorn but this has yet to be confirmed.

Sanook said it was a 40 story building in Narathiwas Ratchanakharin Soi 9.

The fire was extinguished by 7.48 pm and an investigation was underway, they said citing JS 100 Radio.

The condo market is so hot it starts to burn.

No worries folks, no damage to this building i can tell already....mai pen lai..

Its not just Thailand for once. This is a global problem. They're building these towering rabbit warrens faster and faster with cheap materials

Australia is having its fair share of dodgey looking condos.

"...the fire was at the Knightsbridge Sathorn..."

Maybe done by some Brit sick of naming all these joints here after English places...

"Now she gets her kicks in Stephanie, not in Knightsbridge any more... but don't play with me cause you're playing with fire"
