Australian DJ Adam Sky dies after accident in Bali

 

 

DJ Adam Sky, known as one of Asia's top DJs, has died while on holiday in a villa on the Indonesian island of Bali.

 

The 42-year-old Australian, whose real name is Adam Neat, was fatally injured while attempting to help a friend who had reportedly fallen from a private terrace.

 

According to reports, police believe the DJ rushed to try to help his friend, but ran into one of the villa's glass doors in the process, cutting himself badly, which resulted in a fatal loss of blood.

 

In a statement on the DJ's page on Facebook, his management team wrote:

 

"It is with great regret that we can confirm Adam Neat was involved in a fatal accident while trying to help a friend who had suffered multiple fractures in Bali on Saturday 4th May 2019.

glass doors should always have warning strips

A sparrow crashed into our window in the UK recently.  Probably too clean.  Poor thing.  

i cannot imagine there were not drugs involved.

either way, its a shame

 

Why is this news? People die everyday why is a DJ worthy of a news report about his death.

This is not some DJ playing at a birthday party. World famous DJ's are treated like rock stars. A certain level of fame gets you noticed

Another article I read was the cute Russian girl was his assistant and they were both naked. Sounds like boom boom on the balcony a bit to hard

I guess not a bad way to spend your last hours. Shame though. I have run right through a glass door as a kid. They can be a real hazard, and should always be marked with decals.

Glass panels in rentals were banned years ago in Oz. Should only be perspex.

When the imagination competes with fact, the results are obvious.

The unanswered questions expired when DJ Sky crashed through the patio doors.  Nasty business though good business for mop and bucket sellers.

Post reported and removed.

There should be a matte strip anti-collision sticker on those glass doors. I know that running into the glass door would be dangerous but I didn't know how fatal it could get. Probably he panicked  and had an adrenaline rush that added to the strength of his collision.

I have had the sliding door in my  house modified to include split panes to avoid such an accident. Wanted  to insert  tempered  glass  but this was the  easiest option. I did so because a school friend died exactly the same way many many years ago and I have always  remembered it.
