Hi

I currently have a Work Permit and Visa but the company I work for cannot provide work for a few months.. after that they will have work for me. I'd prefer not to cancel and renew, should I hold onto both?

If the job has formally ended you should cancel the work permit.

 

If you have an extension of stay based on the job and it’s income that too should be cancelled.

 

If you have a valid non-immigrant entry visa it does not need cancelling and could continue to be used. If your current permission to stay is from entering with a visa you can stay until the end of the 90 days.
