Cancelling of Single Entry Non-O & Present Retirement Extension for Thai Elite Visa

Featured Replies

I am a British Citizen living in Udonthani for several years and have applied for a Thai Elite Visa.

My understanding is that a Thai Elite Visa can only be issued to people holding a Tourist Visa, 30 day Visa on Arrival or a 30 day Exempt Tourist Visa.

I have attached photos of my original Single Entry Non-O Visa stamped USED on 26.12.2015 and my present Retirement Extension until 26.02.2020.

When I get my Thai Elite Visa approved I plan to leave Suvarnabhumi Airport (with no Re-Entry Permit) for Singapore and stay 1 night and then return to Suvarnabhumi Airport to get a 30 day Exempt Tourist Visa and my Thai Elite Visa in my passport. During my departure and return to Suvarnabhumi Airport I will book the meet and greet service that Thai Elite offers. I will also just in case have a one way return ticket from Bangkok to KualaLumpur.

My question is by doing the above will I be able to get my Single Entry Non-O formally Cancelled along with my present Retirement Extension when I depart and be eligible for a 30 day Exempt Tourist Visa when I return?

Since I got my Single Non-O I have stayed here continuosly on marriage or retirement extensions.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

You single non-o visa became invalid when you entered the country and then it expired after that. You current extension of stay will end as soon as you leave the country and get a departure stamp.

You will have nothing to cancel when you enter the country to get your Thai Elite PE visa issued.
