People have to understand about HIV viral testing first! All the current assay tests for HIV Blood testing is such that only when the viral load is of a certain level, can the test show that HIV is present. So that means if even a person is has HIV but the viral load is not high enough yet to be detected by the test, the results will show that it is negative. This is why in some cases, people with HIV who have been tested and proved positive but because of HIV drugs or other reasons where ether viral load is totally controlled and suppressed, test results may show negative but it does not mean that the person is cured as the virus is still in the bloodsteam but too negable to be picked up by the test. I jhoe that this inof helps most member understand the difficulties involved in the medical industry. No test yet can detect the most minute level of HIV vIral load.

They show as non reactive>> not negative. But a good easy explanation for many people.
