Charmed star and #MeToo activist Alyssa Milano is taking drastic action to protest against a strict new abortion law in the US state of Georgia.

The 46-year-old has called for women to join her in a sex strike over the 'heartbeat' bill signed by Governor Brian Kemp on May 7.

The controversial law prohibits women from having an abortion as soon as a foetal heartbeat can be detected, which typically occurs at around six weeks into a pregnancy - a point at which many women do not yet know they are pregnant.

On Saturday, the actress shared a post on social media encouraging other women to join her in not having sex until they achieve "bodily autonomy".

I think women should decide if they want an abortion. They have to take care of the baby so they should decided if they can do that and want to do that.

But a sex strike? Who is she striking against. With that age and look who wants to touch her?

So she is saying that a woman should be able to have a choice about her body, by her telling every woman what to do with thier bodies? Great work Einstein.

This could have dire effects on the Thai economy, think of the massive starvation, breakup of families, etc.

Haha...that is what I was going to mention also.  One of my favorite reads back in college class.

This has really backfired on her. The religious Right are applauding the slow-down of hook-ups therefore fewer abortions, while the Left are condemning her for perpetuating the view that women do not enjoy sex. She is getting hammered from both sides, which is pretty hard to achieve.

Trump is doing his best, give him more time. But on the OPs subject matter you have to say that old adage is still true "any publicity is good publicity"

The conservative right who believe sex Is only for procreation is going to adopt her as their poster girl. No sex = no procreation = no abortions. It’s a virtuous circle in their minds.

My wife went on a no-sex binge. I said "darling, you will drive me into the arms of ladyboys." She threw me the pick-up keys. "Here, go drive yourself."

In the West, how could you tell the difference?

Its in response to a Bill being passed that prohibits women from deciding what to do with their own bodies. It's NOT about Milano forcing women to any one view but about being in charge of their own bodies numb nuts!

The campaign should be renamed "Help the Hookers"

Really, the conservative right believe sex is only for procreation? That’s a new one!

Conservative women are much much hotter than the over weight, green haired, angry screaming, liberal feminists.

Most Thai women would fall under the category of conservative here in America. Thailand is a very conservative country, and it’s hot women make the point!

I don’t think the queue will be that long lol.

if women will follow her, there is no need anymore for abortion so problem solved itself.

Okay, so let's imagine that women actually listen to her and start depriving themselves (because regardless of what this has-been childhood star thinks, I know women who actually enjoy sex) deprive their hubbies and BF's from getting any nooky. How does that initiate a change of law? Does she really expect the men who aren't getting laid to somehow force law makers to help them out?

I think this is just a case of someone who lost the spotlight many years ago and is desperate for a moment of fame again.

I'd like to hammer her on both sides.
