Netflix may have big plans for video gaming, as the streamer has announced a panel at next month's E3 event.

 

Known for phenomenally-successful original shows like Stranger Things, House of Cards and Orange is the New Black, this is relatively alien territory for Netflix, but it'd be unwise to underestimate them.

 

Back in December, the company confirmed its first foray into the world of video games, which you can see a trailer for below.

 

But now, in a pretty cool Twitter exchange, Netflix has confirmed its attendance at the upcoming Electric Entertainment Expo – which suggests some huge announcements to come.

This is quite unexpected but I just hope that Netflix would soon be available on Nintendo Switch just like they were on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
