The crime Suppression Division announced the arrest of a Thai man on a charge of breaking into and stealing from a car in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi in late December.

Phop Euanjit, 37, denied it saying he was just the motorcycle rider after the theft when 7,000 baht of valuables were taken.

The motorcycle was found at his garage repair shop.

He was taken into custody at Lumpini Condotown in Lat Pla Khao Road yesterday.

TNA reported that Phop is the son of a mother who is a doctor and father who is a deputy hospital director at a famous hospital.

He was jailed in 2015 after being convicted of being the head of a gang that smashed their way into cars and stole valuables in Huay Kwang, Pahonyothin, Choke Chai and Pak Kret areas of Bangkok and in Pattaya.

No it means a wai and go free, because he's a son of a doctor.

Naught child, you're grounded!

It's obviously the parents' fault for not giving their 37 years old son enough pocket money.

So he is a doctor’s son...So what? Lock him up and keep him out of the news.

I am confused about the profession of the parents, and its relevance to this story.

Why was his face pixilated out and no pointing by the officers.

he has found his own way to acquire celebrity

Possibly feeding a "habit"!

37 years old, son of two highly professional parents yet he has to resort to theft to fund himself... maybe the parents have given up on him after wasting money on an education that got him no where.

Put him away for longer this time....

Headline should read scumbag still breaking into cars.

Nothing to do with parents at his age.

his only real link to doctors; is there must be a medical name for his problem!

Well, his parents work at a "famous" hospital in Thailand therefore they won't name him and keep his face pixelated so as not to bring the name of the hospital or parents into disrepute.

The parents are high educated people but son have no respect for other peoples things

Are that because he just got everything he wants when he was a child or just low IQ from birth??

He 37 and probably never had a job.

Let him get some jail time and let him clean cars for other people

Just giving them a mechanical check up

At 37 yo, let me suggest his parents should not be responsible for his actions, although his parenting may have been amiss. He's responsible for his actions now.

Doesn't look like he learned anything from 2015.

He was breaking INTO the cars, not stealing the cars according to the article, unless he stripped em on the street??
