Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will "finish" Rocket's story arc, according to James Gunn

The third Guardians of the Galaxy film might be a way off, but it's still had a turbulent few months.

 

With James Gunn now officially returning as director, however, Vol 3 is back on track.

 

After Disney reinstated Gunn as director following his firing in 2018, James – who's also working on rival project The Suicide Squad – has dropped a few hints about what fans can expect from Guardians 3 when it eventually hits cinemas.

 

In an interview with Deadline, Gunn opened up about his fears for his career following his Guardians dismissal, including which aspect of the films he was worried would disappear with him.
