Finding work in IT Service Management

We are relocating to Bangkok this summer. My partner has secured a role in a school and I am currently looking for a senior IT management job in Service Management or Service Delivery but not having much luck. I am checking the usual recommended job sites and have applied for several positions but not heard back much. I appreciate it is a competitive market with preference given to Thai nationals but any tips on how to break into it would be appreciated. What is the contracting market like? Would that be easier or open doors? Or is remote work a better option? Thanks for all your help.
