Gabrielle Crahan posted a picture on her Instagram showing an Alcoholics Anonymous sobriety coin alongside the caption '5 months' just three days before her death

Slipknot drummer Shawn Crahan's daughter posted an emotional picture on Instagram celebrating five months of sobriety just days before her death.

Gabrielle Crahan, 22, from Des Moines, Iowa, shared a photo of her Alcoholic's Anonymous 'sobriety coin' on Thursday last week, just three days before her death on Saturday.

The token is given to AA group members to represent the amount of time they abstain from alcohol.

She captioned the post '5 MONTHS' and attached a selfie alongside it showing her looking healthy and happy as she smiled towards the camera.
