Extending Non-imm Type O?

Featured Replies

I have a 1 year Non-Imm type O visa that requires me to exit Thailand every 90 days. Is it possible to extend my 90 day stay for a week or more? Thanks in advance for any replies.

If you got your non-immigrant-O based on marriage you should be able to get a 60 day extention based on visiting wife. You can only get this extention once.

My visa is not a marriage visa. I just need to stay over a couple of days past my 90 days.

I believe you can apply at your local immigration office for a seven day extension - cost is 2000 baht.

In Pattaya they will now only give 7 days extension on a Non Imm O multi-entry visa.

That is with no marriage.

They used to give 30 days. :o

So you have to time your visa runs carefully.

Believe they may require proof of travel plans but normally a 7 day extension of stay is available in emergency situations and cost is 1,900 baht.
