Non Imm B renewal - workplace visit

Featured Replies

I am renewing my non-imm B for the first time and expecting a visit from immigration to our office in the next couple weeks. What should I expect from the visit? Will they interview all of the staff? Some of our staff travel for work, will we need to have them all come to the office as for the visit? Do we need time sheets?

Any information would be great so we can be prepared, thanks.

Seriously..

Ask your laywer i doubt here you get serious help.

An anecdote is the best I can provide - the business owner was a friend - Jomtien area - with one farang Non-B + Work-Permit (manager of a guesthouse + restaurant) and 4 Thai employees.

Labor showed up for the inspection (2nd year), and one employee was late.  The labor folks stayed and were served food and drinks, until the late-employee showed up.  I do not know if that would have been necessary if they had a five-to-one or higher Thai/foreigner ratio, and the minimum 4 had been present.

Yes all employee must be present with signed copies of their ID cards and maybe contact number on that copy.

They will ask them which company they work and what is job description.
