Komerican
I just got a new passport and my retirement visa expires on June 7th' And I am planning to go to Vientian, by land, to get Non B visa. Do I need to get my retirement visa stamp transfer to new passport before leaving Thailand or can I carry my old and new passport? Would I have any problem at the Thai border if I don't have the stamp transferred?
ubonjoe
You could leave the country and get your most recent permit to stay stamp transferred. Allow extra time to get it done. I assume you are leaving without a valid re-entry permit.
Komerican
Thank you, ubonjoe. I learned that if I don't have stamp transfer to the new passport it would take extra time at the border so I decided to take a quick trip to Chaeng Wattana and get it done before I leave.
