Latex mattress topper recommendation

Featured Replies

I had been looking for a latex mattress topper in Thailand, and especially when you Google it many posts on Thaivisa show up, but you rarely get a specific recommendation and many of the posts are quite a few years old, so i thought i give a current personal recommendation.

After some research i found a shop on Lazada which has many positive ratings and is also cheaper than any other shop, online and offline, which i found: https://www.lazada.co.th/shop/verza-latex/

I'm in no way affiliated with this shop, i'm just happy with their product. I got the 6 foot / 2 inch version (which is 200x180x5cm) for a bit less than 5000THB about a month ago, and don't have any complaints. It made my bed (some cheap spring mattress) way more comfortable, feels like a proper mattress now for which you would probably pay at least 20k THB. The first one or two days i noticed a slight smell, but since then i can't smell it anymore. Comes with an outer cover which can be removed. Has an Oeko Tex 100 label, don't know if this label is legit.

Yes thailand rentals always come complimentary with a concrete mattress.

12k for a 18cm latex mattress is of course a good price, but you have to be lucky to find such an offer.

In my case i also didn't want to buy a complete mattress, because when i move i can put the topper in a bag and just send it somewhere else (came with Kerry, so i should be able to send it anywhere else in Thailand for a few hundred baht with Kerry)

the full price was before 20 000 , I was looking all around the big shops , as I have no fat-isolation around my bones , and really suffered on those Thai mattresses , I am an Economy size fitting flyer 180 cm 74 kilo

But the top latex is a solution of course

I bought a 2" (5cm) king size foam topper from Ikea 3 years ago and am happy with it.  It has held up well and hasn't developed any bumps or thin areas. About B4000 if I remember correctly.

Just noticed Lazada has a Dunlopillo Firmex 2" thick 6' topper for B3900.  That seems like a pretty good deal for an excellent quality manufacturer.

There are many topper brands for latex mattress but I recommend you to use this high quality Pure Green 100% Natural Latex Mattress Topper. It is more comfortable and gives you maximum airflow. You do not feel hot.

I have been living with a foam mattress topper for many years in my rented condos with cement beds. But eventually, it just wears out. I have been saving these guys for a rainy day. Memory foam is awesome but expensive. Still, I think worth it.

Doesn't memory foam lock you into whatever position Your laying in making it difficult to move around and what about heat?

latex toppers...let me see...20k divided by bar fines/girlie price times days of week....bugger run out of fingers and toes.

We got a mattress topper from central plaza and it really did the trick and touch wood never had any pains since. 3500 baht it is goose feathers inside. Was a sale item. Came with what can be described as a giant pillow case of a bag.

I found a very good condo to rent, but the mattress had springs showing everywhere.  I told the owner no way.  Idiot suggested I buy my own mattress.  And what to do with his sod mattress?  Put it against the wall?  No thank you.

I bought mine from Lazada too. It was by far the best thing I had ever bought.

It has made such a difference and sorted out my discomfort and back pain.

Dunlopillo mattress has a quilted "topping", what it is made of I don't know, but for sure it was the best mattress I ever had, and the plus was it is great for folk with allergies...
