Nui Beach (not to be confused with Ya Nui Beach) is north of Nai Harn Beach. Freedom Beach is north of the beach in front of Le Meridien Hotel (maps below). The investigation follows officers receiving many complaints that tourists are having to pay for entrance fees at Nui and Freedom Beaches. dick dasterdly Posted May 29, 2019 Share Posted May 29, 2019 A visiting friend and I once 'discovered' a beach (way) off the main track that charged 100 bht (from memory) heading towards the viewpoint. We were both very happy to pay this charge (that included a sunbed/umbrella/free drink) as they had kept the area pristine and, whilst snorkelling, we saw all the normal reef fish plus baby black tip sharks.
