When Disney bought Fox, a whole new world of crossover opportunities opened up including one between the Marvel cinematic universe and the world of X-Men.

 

While there’s not a lot of certainty surrounding which X-Men characters will make the jump over to Disney productions in their current form, there’s one hero who seems to be more safe than the others: Deadpool.

 

And now the rumour mill – courtesy of fan site MCU Cosmic – is churning out a number of ideas for when we’ll get to see him on our screens next.

 

The most obvious and most likely is in another standalone movie, which we’ll call Deadpool 3 for now.
