Retirement VISA new document needed

Featured Replies

We just went to do the retirement visa for my dad. In order to have all documents at once we checked with the officer a day before. Here the not surprising part comes. The next day we got all documents ready and go in. Guess what ?  Another new document is required which is the proof or confirmation of the place you live from the owner of the house, condominium. After asking the officer we were just told its a different department ???? Lost another full day and 1200 Baht taxi rides to Chaeng Wattana. Thus to all please be aware when you go for your retirement VISA. Good luck.

Do mean something like a lease. I have always taken my lease to cw for extension based on retirement. Sometimes they just sight it last time they took it. Just re read op.

Where you state different department. Meaning different counter. TM30

I suspect what you need is a current TM30 (report of foreigner) on file from home owner.  Can you confirm that is the form required?  It has been asked recently and people directed to counter B if not have.

Yes it’s indeed called TM30 which they started requesting from this year on. Correct different counter and they did not give full info.
