Mailed visa application is this normal?

Featured Replies

Yesterday I mailed my application to the DC consulate and on my tracking number it says "Delivery Attempt: Action Needed" and "Notice Left (No Secure Location Available)". I called the consulate and the girl told me I don't have to do anything. Just wondering if anyone else had this happen, and what did they do to sort everything out? Do I need to do anything on the USPS website or do I just sit back and they'll get it next week seeing as tomorrows saturday?

Prolly should have addressed it to the Embassy.

Thai embassy DC has proven reliable and efficient over the years...

Don't worry...your info is in good hands...????

Above address has always worked for me; once I left off a small detail and they called to allow me to amend the infraction.  Never anything but first class for many years.  Good luck.

my tracking now says Delivered. idk what the problem was

I know some embassies and other similar entities don’t accept mail at that location directly, but accept it at an off-site location for security screening first. Kind of how general mail addresses to the White House (1600 Penn.) doesn’t go to the WH directly, but to a secured off-site screening building first. I wonder if that’s what is happening?
