Hey anyone from USA with a Chase Bank account do you use the mobile banking app and have you ever done a check deposit to your account using your smartphone app from here in Thailand? Go a check and need to deposit it.

Sorry have credit card but no bank account with them.  Do they offer home computer deposit using scan?  That might be easier and how I do to my bank.

Last night I looked at the Chase website and then installed the Mobile app to my phone. Followed the banks info and direction and within a few minutes I had made a deposit of the check I had. The app is a mirror of my online internet banking with some added features, one of them is the ability to deposit a check in to my accounts. Very simple to do using the built in camera feature of the app. It does the photo of the front and back of the check and leads you through the process. Even tells you if the photo is not good to retake.

Very pleased with this feature. Worked well even from Thailand.

So if you have Chase Bank internet banking on a PC you can simply add the mobile app and use your same user id and password to use it.
