Hello everyone hope i in right place anyway my names dave 55 English finally moving to si rattana with my thai wife of 20 years in October my understanding is i get a 90 day visa from London embassy then deposit 400000 in thai bank for 2 months then apply for 1 year extension of stay based on marriage to thai

my 2 questions are does the 400000 have to be sent from outside thailand or can i just bring cash and deposit it when here

and as first visa 90 days can i get a 1 year return flight to uk or does it mean my flight can only be a 90 day return like the visa thank you for any help

You can bring the 400,000 baht in cash (in sterling) if you prefer. In Thailand, I suggest you change it at SuperRich Green. You will receive a much better rate than is given by the banks.

There are no flight requirements. A one-year ticket (even no return ticket) is fine.
