Transfer money back to Uk

Featured Replies

I would like to send money back from my Siam commercial bank to the Uk will it be straight forward sending back 200000 bahts at a time .

will i be questioned why i want to transfer money back ?

As long as you can prove where it came from you shouldn't have any problems, although lots of small transactions may be expensive.

Dee money allows you to send Thai Baht to UK at much lower cost, and better rate (although I read recently that it's suspended temporarily).

Your best bet is to find a few Brits who need to bring money in (but don't need to prove it came from abroad), and let them send you GBP while you give/send them THB.

PM me if you're interested, as I will need to make a top up soon...

Over 10k gbp equivalent will auto trigger HMRC interest.

I would say sending money UK as long as legit no problem, I sent 300,000 baht say about £7000 to my sons bank a/c in Uk and wrote on form it was a repayment of a loan sent from my son.

Was there the next day in his a/c.
