Gen Prayut with world leaders at the G20 Osaka summit

Thailand’s prime minister Prayut Chan-o-cha attended the G20 Osaka summit on June 28th and 29th in his capacity as ASEAN Chair.

 

Gen Prayut met with world leaders, including U.S. president Donald Trump, Russian president Vladimir Putin, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau and Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe.

Two other ASEAN nations, Singapore and Vietnam, are also invited by the hosts to attend the event as guest countries.

It was trump who legitimized Prayut as a PM , probably the only leader of a coup to get an invite to the white house

OMG...now we are going to have to deal with Dems accusing Trump of using the G20 meeting to setup Thai collusion...drug and human trafficking...

We see that the general feels at ease among the "powerful" of this world, who knows, maybe they will invite him to the G8 ...

Lets not forget Prayut was not invited to the G20 because he is PM of Thailand, but only  because Thailand is this years Asean chair, no other reason.

By the looks of this picture, the world is in good hands.????

Perhaps he was apologising for the insensitive & disgusting comments he made re the murders of tourists & in particular David Miller and Hannah Witheridge
