Sir Cliff Richard opens up about 'trauma' of false sex abuse allegations amid bid to keep accused anonymous until charge

Singer Sir Cliff Richard and DJ Paul Gambaccini have called for a "re-balancing of the legal system" as they helped launch a petition to try to force a change in the law to give those accused of sexual offences anonymity until they are charged.

Bank branches aren’t dead, but a new model is needed

One might look at the steep decline in the numbers of bank branches in Thailand and other countries in recent years, and can't help to think that their future is doomed, particularly when considering that much of the world is moving towards all sorts of digital transactions, automated investment devices and cashless payments.

No Villagers Spared in Saithong National Park Encroachment Cases

Many villagers hug each other as they expect to receive a jail term over national-park encroachment. They believe they are innocent, though.

 

All 14 villagers sued for allegedly encroaching on the Chaiyaphum-based Saithong National Park were found guilty by the Appeals Court despite the loud complaints and media attention to the cases.

Interest rate cut can’t be ruled out, says Bank of Thailand official

A senior Bank of Thailand official, Don Nakornthab, said on Wednesday that he believes the rate-setting Monetary Policy Committee has not shut the door on a possible interest rate cut this year.
