hehehe.

do you guys really believe you are going to beat the "inventors"? if I was the inventor, and somebody told me to give them my secret invention, or ELSE, I would rather die than give it to them.

what would you do?

I can't wait for the companies to all come back to america - where they should be.

the american companies should learn from alcoa. they had the right idea way back when. keeping the smelters in america, and shipping in the ore from outside.

it's not too late to learn though. ...just a matter of time.

when america discovers the cure for aids, I predict you guys will be begging america on your hands and feet for the drug.

but we haver little doubt where he is posting from ..... but when my COUNTRY discovers a cure ... (if one is possible) they better not hand it over to Big Pharma to market :o

All the good stuff is being done in Europe these days - it swings backwards and forward ;-)

Herceptin, Tamiflu, vaccines

America's biggest ie Pfizer has not had a new blockbuster since 1998 and that was viagra - the lifeline to all those oldies in Thailand ;-)

if you want the latest list, just go to the fda site. no need to do the "my dad is better than your dad routine".

http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cder/drugsatfda/

so much stuff will be coming out soon. (phase 3 and above) thailand is really showing it's colors at the wrong time. if they were smart, they should have waited a few more years. but then, as we all know. ..this is thailand.

http://www.gene.com/gene/pipeline/status/index.jsp

Not all drugs are licensed in the USA first - many go elsewhere first and the FDA only deals with the USA I am afraid.

Plus the fact that not all drugs (even from US pharma never mind the euro pharma) are discovered and developed in the USA ;-)

Lets look at Herceptin - you specifically link to it. Genetech may be putting it forward to the FDA but its a Roche drug i beleive ie Swiss - already approved in the UK and elsewhere - somewhat proves my point!

Avastin too!

Then all phase 3 do not make it to market as I am sure you will know ;-))

Did anyone mention pipeline ;-)

LOL ... guess you missed those rulings from international groups .... <think ... weather in Norman Ok>

But as this is a thread about AIDS drugs in Thailand and the issuance of coompulsory licenses ... and that has been ruled on by the international governing bodies ... this is a done deal ... not stealing .. nothig illegal :o tata
