My brother called last night to say she is very, very close to death so hopefully we'll get there in time see her before she goes. We land at 10.15 tomorrow night and my brother suggested we go straight to her care home which will be about midnight, but I think that may be pushing it after a 15 hour flight. It would be good if she could manage to last until her 101st birthday next Monday, but from the sounds of it, that will unlikely. Many thanks to all who responded positively to my post.
