July 6, 20197 yr Soon Hubby and I will move to a "new condo" in the same building where we've lived for many years in Chiang Mai. The condo office takes care of filing TM30s online. How should we handle reporting the change in room number? Ask the condo office to input a new TM30 for us? Go out to CM Immigration and file a TM28? We have copies of the appropriate documents from the owner of our "new condo", but she works out-of-province and it would be an inconvenience for her to go to CM Immigration with us.
July 6, 20197 yr Both TM.30 and TM.28 should be filed; but as usual it comes down to what CM want. I would ask the condo to submit a TM.30 at the very least.
July 6, 20197 yr For TM30 purposes, I don't think the owner would need to go with you to Immigration, as long as you have the appropriate photocopy documents from the building owner and the unit owner, including a photocopy of her Thai ID and a photocopy of your lease/rental agreement.
July 10, 20196 yr I asked CM Immigration information desk about this 2 months ago and they told me to update TM30. No mention of TM28.
July 10, 20196 yr 1 hour ago, Andyfez said: Yes I recently did this at CW, Bangkok. They only wanted TM30. Same. They even refuse to take Tm28s it seems.
