james.d
Hi, My shower unit is leaking water as you can see from attached photo. I am looking for some advice from anyone with more knowledge than me, do I need to change the whole shower heater unit or is their a simple fix? Could the inlet pipe from the tap have something to do with it? Many thanks for any input.
Anythingleft?
You have an isolation tap before the water heater yes?If yes then this tap is leaking and may just need a new seal Replacement of the tap would probably be just as cheap and easy to be fair depending on the age of it.......Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
VocalNeal
1. Does the inlet from the tap shut off fully? Maybe it is just the tap washer? You may have to isolate the whole house to fix the tap. 2. Looks like the leak is still inside the pipes and fittings and not outside under the cover. 3. Turn off the power and take off the white cover and have another look. johng
There is supposed to be another pipe attached where the drip is emerging...it will either be the shower head or a tap / valve if you have the input connected directly to the wall with no valve (that comes with the heater) then the wall tap/valve is leaking...the pipe inside the heater is straight through with no valve/tap. james.d
Thanks all, I'm embarrassed to say the tap having a leak didn't occur to me. The tap itself is leaking and I will get a replacement tap. Thanks again.

Excellent you just saved at least 3,000 baht and a bigger embarrassment when the new heater still "leaked" ????????
