TM30 -- what docs required for subsequent reports that are mailed in via post office?

Featured Replies

I already applied for first time at CW and got receipt when I extended my retirement stay a week ago. I am not sure if I need to, but plan to report each time I return from abroad, to avoid any possible problems on next extension or other immigration dealings. I will do by mail, not online since I cannot spend hours struggling with computer screen. Does anyone with experience know if on subsequent reporting, do you need to send only the TM30 form, or all the accompanying docs like tabian baan, passport pages, etc? Anyone recently (since regulation enforcement started this year) successfully gotten receipt from mailed-in application containing only TM30 form?

There are reports of people receiving receipt by mail. However it seems to be taking some weeks rather than days. I plan to do mine by mail as the "possessor". Mainly to avoid relying on owner of condo.

I will send the copy of identity page. Tm6. Most recent entry stamp. Lease. Prob include reentry permit as well. You cannot just send tm30 form alone.

Send by ems mail including self addressed envelope.

Personally I'm going to only do ONE. That will be my last reentry to los prior to visit to imm for my extension. Not sure what happens if my receipt has not arrived.

I sent:  TM30 form completed by my Landlord; the schedule showing my, my wife's and my son's details; copies of my Landlord's ID card & blue book; a copy of the main page of my lease; copies of our passport ID pages, TM6, latest entry stamp and Extension stamp; self-addressed return envelope (EMS).

It took 3 weeks, but I got the receipt back and no fine was mentioned.

This was my first ever TM30 report.  I'm not sure if I would need to send all the documents and copies again, should I need to do another.  But my understanding from Chaengwattana is we only need to re-submit it if we move permanent address.

I am glad that I have never owned my residences in Thailand!
