Wrong Date for 90-Day Report???

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

-Entered Thailand on 29 March 2019 on non-imm ED valid for 90 days

-On 25 Jun 2019 I went to Chaengwattana to do the TM.7 extension of my visa. I was given a slip about 90 day reporting stating that the TM.7 is allowed as a notification of residence for the first time in a 90 day period.

-On the slip, my next date of notification is 23 July 2019.

My questions:

-Shouldn't this date be 90 days from when I did my visa extension (from 25 June)? If not, then I'll go to CW to do it (I tried the online 90 day report today and it didn't work).

-What should I do if it is the wrong date?

I leave Thailand for 2 weeks on 24 July 2019, so need to get it sorted before then.

Thank you in advance for any help or advice.

You do not need to a report until 90 days from the date you applied for the extension.

The officer put the wrong date on the slip that is only a reminder of when your report is due. You could take it out of your passport and just leave the country since the slip is only meant for you. There is no record of it anywhere.

Thank you Ubonjoe. That'll save me a journey. You've replied to some of my other posts in the past. You really know your stuff. Much appreciate, mate!

Your extension of stay and 90 day report are different.  Usually, but not always, the IO will do a 90 day report at the same time.

Also, the 90 days is counted from the day you report not from the final day posted on your previous report.  In other words, if you report a week early, then 90 days is counted from then.
