If it's your mother or your child you can get a Non Imm O visa for the purpose of visiting family, just show the proof of relationship when you make your application. There is no facility for you to apply for a visa extension using the relationship unless you are married or over 50.

any problems getting this ??

whats required for it ?

Dunno,if you are still speaking to the childs mother and you are named as the father just ask her for a copy of it. All Thai children have a birth certificate.

Inside Thailand you can get an additional 60 day extension to visit your child. Must have

Copy of your passport

Copy of household registration (child)

Copy of the Thai national’s ID card

Copy of birth certificate

Copy of marriage certificate (if divorced) otherwise a letter from the district officer certifying it’s your child. If the child is able to sign you are the father, no problem. Otherwise the court would need to sign on behalf of the child.
