TM30 at Suvarnabhumi airport

Featured Replies

Hi to everybody!

Do the immigration officers at Suvarnabhumi really care about TM30 when you leave? I am reading all the new topics about TM30 and I am in a mess. I am here in Thailand only for 23 days in a friend's condo and I am not going to extend my stay. Do we really need to go to CW to do this document?

Thanks

No. Immigration officers at the airport have probably never heard of a TM30 form.

According to the immigration law, your friend must report your stay the same address. It has nothing to do with you leaving the country. if you are ok until then, you will have nothing to worry about at the airport.

What can happen is a check, due to that somebody reported you as staying there, or a regular check, and then you and your friend will be fined for not making a TM30 report within 24 hours.

No. They have no interest in your address history.

No. It is not the responsibility for a 'Tourist" to complete the TM.30. It's down to your friend.

If your friend doesn't report your stay you might have a problem extending a stay, but as you're not doing that you have nothing to worry about.
