Cancelling Old Work Permit after leaving Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

I have already stopped working for my old company in Thailand and have left the country for a while now. I never cancelled my work permit with them because my company never informed me that I needed to do so (I still have it with me).

Now I would like to return to Thailand to work for another company but I'm afraid I will be penalized because I have not cancelled my old work permit. How do I take care of this problem? I just want a clean slate! Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Your old company would and should cancell your work permit already, however your extension of stay if different you need to do yourself before leaving Thailand or getting a new visa, work permit and ext are different
