I want to buy a persian kitten. If anyone can give me contact info in Bangkok or in the Chiang Mai area I shall be most grateful.

We have a litter of 5 .. 2 white, 1 white with a patch of grey on the top of her head, two tiger stripped ones. 4 girls and the only boy is the tiger stripped. My wife wants to keep all of them but we have a small house and already have two cats. send me your email and I will send you pics. We are in Chiang Mai. If you were interested .. money would not be the motivator. You would have to love cats more than her and I am not sure its possible.

swain,

You, or rather your response, offering a possibility in Chiang Mai is just about the most welcome tv correspondence I've had yet. PLEASE give us a chance to take the male; and to extend the favour-seeking, I would ask you to please hold on until I return - straight after songkran - to Chiang Mai.

We have a (ginger and white) one year old female persian now. She's going periodically on heat, and we don't want to have her neutered - at least not until she's had a litter. That would put me in the sort of situation you're in now, but I gather it's healthier and less harsh to not consider an operation before that.

I have little fear that your wife can be convinced that the kitten is going to a suitable home. Our cat enjoys more priveleges and tending than do I - of which I sort of disapprove, but in vain.

If, to our chagrin, you cannot wait or decide to keep the male, please let me know so that I can look in Bangkok before I go back.

It would be great if you could post a pic of the male. Are the parents pure bred?
