Somebody else may find this information useful. I recently enquired at the Thai Embassy London about processing times for visa applications. This is their reply. 

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

You must submit within 3 months before traveling.  The processing time takes 3-5 working days after we receive your passport.

Walk-in is not available.

Applicants are required to set up an account and submit visa applications online, then book an appointment to submit their passports and visa applications in person at the Embassy, or submit them by post.
