I've got a spare couple of weeks in April and maybe Jul/Aug and I want to go to Christchurch, does anyone know of any cheap airlines or good travel agents in the Chiang Mai area that will look for competive prices or special offers?

I've looked at Jetstar and thats still rather expensive.

You might be best to do a return to Sydney followed by a Sydney Christchurch return on a different carrier.

Afew days ago I found a deal on Jet Stars Australia website for $426 total for 2 people from SYD to Christchurch return.

Then you would need to find a special from BKK to SYD return.

www.thaifly.com has some good deals.

I got a one way from BKK to SYD for 12,000 THB total on Malaysia afew weks ago from their website.

Also have a look at the website for flight center travel agent in Oz. You might find some NZ specials on there.

Emirates and Qantas could be an option as well, but would most likely be expensive. I suggest you find 2 seperate deals.
