Often on the bottom (for 3BB e.g.). I hope it's not (T)true that they still use "admin"/"password" indiscriminately Edited August 12, 2019 by KhunBENQ

ThaidDown
Could depend on Router but my True device uses admin/password as default. Nothing wrong with that as long as user changes it after installation. Note There is a sticker on the front with info about this as well as default wifi key and ssid. stament
Thanks all the default true username and password worked but I couldn't see where to change the channel once I logged in. I also googled Huawei HG8122 for assistance but alas no luck so looks like I will need to call true as not all devices are recognising the current channel the router is using. carlyai
Does the router have a WPS button? If so bring your device close to the router and press the router WPS button 5 secs) and then the device WPS button. The device should connect and your device will have the same password and SSID (with an extension) of the router.Channels should be the same. This works for me and is an easy way to setup.Sent from my SM-J700F using Tapatalk
