People love to brag that Israel is "the only true democracy in the Middle East." Great. Let’s celebrate that! But that also means Bibi Netanyahu didn't just spawn out of nowhere—he keeps winning elections. So, if the government represents the will of the majority, then the Israeli electorate is directly responsible for the land theft in the West Bank and the mass murder in Gaza. And since almost every Israeli happily or unhappily joins the IDF, everyone is actively participating. So please, stop using the "democracy" label as a badge of honor. In this case, it’s just proof of collective moral bankruptcy. Meanwhile, let's look at the favorite excuse for Gaza: "But they voted for Hamas!" Sure, twenty years ago. Today, the median age in Gaza is around 18. Do the math. The vast majority of people currently trying to survive there were either toddlers or not even a thought in their parents' minds in 2006. Telling yourself that the children dodging bombs today voted for Hamas or the October 7 attacks isn't just factually wrong—it's a masterclass in self-delusion.
