Madonna has told Miley Cyrus that there is ‘no need to apologize’ after she slammed rumours that she’d ‘cheated’ on ex Liam Hemsworth in a string of tweets about the split.

We love legends supporting legends.

The Wrecking Ball hitmaker wrote a lengthy statement, saying at one point: ‘I can admit to a lot of things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating.’

Madonna commented on the star’s Instagram post, telling her: ‘Thank GOD!! You are human! A woman who has lived. No need to apologize!!’
