A friend of mine needs to extend her 30 day stamp at Samui Immigration.  I've told her to bring:

  • Passport copies
  • Photo
  • Fee
  • TM7 form

Is there anything else she needs (like proof of onward travel or accommodations)?  I know people who have done extensions in NST but not in Samui, not sure if they ask for anything different.

Thanks.

There is a shop just outside immigration that will do the copies of passport and photos etc. Just fill in forms and go into office, pay 1,900 TB. I did this recently and as a family of four we were in and out in less than 45 minutes

Has a TM30 been filed re her residence.

Very important question. If not she or her landlord have to deal with that problem and pay that fine first...
